Calling all kids!
After years of teaching Bay Area adults to cook, we’ve decided to get the young and promising talent in on the action too. Jordan’s Kitchen is proud to present Junior Chefs, a hands-on, four-week series where kids between the ages of seven and twelve will have the opportunity to explore high-quality ingredients and prepare delicious, seasonally-based menus.
Whether it’s pressing hand-made corn tortillas or frosting the perfect cake, our young chefs will be fully immersed in the cooking process and learn valuable tips, tools and techniques (including kitchen safety and knife skills) along the way. And, of course, we eat everything we make. At Jordan’s Kitchen, we only use organic ingredients sourced directly from local farmers and community markets that we know and believe in.
Classes take place on Sunday mornings, from 9:30am - 11:30am in our SF kitchen in the Mission, and cost $260 for the four class series all inclusive of tax and materials. The series is limited to twelve kids per class, so sign up today! Everything is provided.
