If you can’t make it to Barcelona this summer, here’s the next best thing. Four of Spain’s most classic and delicious dishes. Pan con tomate, patatas bravas and albondigas are exactly what I think of when I hear the word tapas. Who wouldn’t want to share these dishes with friends and family; they are regional treasures throughout Spain. In Catalonia, you’ll find “tomato bread” everywhere! Next we’ll make crisp potatoes with two sauces. A smoky, spicy tomato (bravas) sauce made with Spanish pimenton and sherry vinegar and a garlic aioli. Spanish meatballs are next and then a massive seafood paella with chorizo. Wow, you probably should not eat for the entire day before coming to this class.
