Jordan's Kitchen Cooking Class: SUNDAY SUPPERS

December 8, 2013

5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

  • Wild halibut tartare with red grapes, lemongrass, micro cilantro and lime oil
  • Slow cooked duck salad with apples, endive, pomegranate and mustard-tarragon vinaigrette
  • Veal, pork and beef meatballs with San Marzano tomato sauce and shaved Parmigiano Reggiano
  • Chocolate brownie cake with salted caramel sauce

Sunday Suppers is back. Due to such a busy schedule with private parties for the holidays, this will be our only two public classes in December. We’ve got four great dishes in store for the final classes of 2013. First course will be a raw fish preparation using some pristine Halibut and thai aromatics. Then we’ll cook a delicious winter salad of tender duck leg meat lightened up with crisp apples and endive. Lot’s of herbs and an assertive Dijon vinaigrette. Meatballs are always one of my favorites, these are amazing. Perfect to simmer on the stove in San Marzano tomato sauce all winter long. For dessert, we’ll teach you how to make a chocolate brownie cake that combines the rich, chocolatey flavor of a brownie with the light texture of a cake. And the most addictive salted caramel sauce to compliment it.
