Jordan's Kitchen Cooking Class: SUMMER ENTERTAINING
We love to entertain at my house when I have the night off, especially in the summer time when the days are longer. At the last minute, we’ll invite six or eight friends over for a few bottles of wine and an impromptu dinner. I’ll grab whatever looks good that day from the farmers market along with a few staples in the larder and create a dinner that tastes incredible but not fussy. This would be a perfect summer dinner in my house… Of course we’ll teach you some pretty cool ways to elevate these dishes. It’s the little things like basil oil instead of basil, haricot vert instead of standard green beans, infusing Riesling with spices and then reducing the poaching liquid all the way down to a glaze. You get where I’m coming from.
