Jordan's Kitchen Cooking Class: DUNGENESS CRAB COOKOUT


  • Dungeness crab meat, cucumber rounds, coconut milk and baby basil
  • Cauliflower soup with Dungeness crab, chives, toasted cumin seeds and lime oil
  • Roasted Dungeness crab with garlic and orange butter, parsley and torn bread
  • Deconstructed apple, pear and cornmeal “crisp” with Meyer lemon whipped cream

Does it get any better than our Dungeness crab? This is one of my absolute favorite local products. In this cooking class we will be working with whole, live crabs. You’ll learn how to cook and clean them and break them down. The first course is an elegant passed appetizer. The crab meat will be marinated in a basil infused coconut milk and served on cucumber rounds. Cauliflower and crab is an incredible combination, this soup is divine. I can get through the winter as long as I’m stirring a pot of this…The main course will be a full on crab pig out, roasted with an incredible garlic, herb and citrus butter sauce. Bring your bib!
