January 12 - February 2
9:30 am - 11:30 am
Sunday, January 12th 9:30am – 11:30am
Beginning at an early age, kids love to participate in the kitchen, and helping their parents cook breakfast in the morning is the perfect place to start. By the end of this series, our Junior Chefs will be cooking their own breakfast and maybe even bringing their parents breakfast in bed. We’ll be getting our hands in some flour and baking the most amazing homemade cinnamon rolls, and we’ll also step up to the stoves and make scrambled eggs with melted leeks, cheese, and, of course, bacon! Every kid loves bacon.
Sunday, January 19th 9:30am – 11:30am
Ciao, Mama! An Italian-inspired feast awaits our young chefs in this class, where we’ll learn to make classic meatballs (just like Nonna’s) and warm baked ziti with roasted garlic, basil, béchamel and melted mozzarella.
Sunday, January 26th 9:30am – 11:30am
Everything tastes better in a corn tortilla; it’s Taco time! This class will focus on putting together a bona fide taco bar, complete with homemade corn tortillas and all the fixings. Each student will have their choice of a protein to prep and cook and we’ll make the biggest bowl of guacamole you’ve ever seen. Sorry kiddos, no tequila but BYO Sombreros!
Sunday, February 2nd 9:30am – 11:30am
Who doesn’t love dessert? In this class, we’ll brush up on our classic pastry skills and make sweets for the sweet. Maybe we’ll even bring some home for dad to enjoy at his Super Bowl party. We’ll mix, measure, and bake our way to the most tender chocolate sugar cookies, then move on to decadent banana cupcakes topped with cream cheese frosting. Everyone will get to work with pastry bags, tips and fondant decorations.
NOTE: These classes are great to do with your child. Parents who want to share the experience, sign up for two.Cooking Class
