By the end of this series, our Junior Chefs will be cooking their own breakfast and maybe even bringing their parents breakfast in bed. We’ll be whisking up a real “eggy” batter and baking some fluffy apple and cinnamon french toast, and we’ll also raise the bar with our home made granola from scratch made from oats, dried fruits, honey and nuts.

Dust off those blankets kids, you’ll still be packing this picnic to Dolores Park years from now with your friends. We’re making roast chicken salad, slightly sweet and sour pickled vegetable snacks and classic fudge brownies for dessert.

Thai food is healthy, flavorful and a great entry point for kids to enjoy new and interesting flavors. It’s also great food to make and eat with your hands. Chicken satay with toasted peanut sauce is heaven on a stick. And two kinds of hand wrapped spring rolls to feast on.

Every kids series ends with a dessert/baking class. For “Cookie Monsters” we’re making GIANT oatmeal chocolate chip skillet cookies and cocoa and date truffles. Wash that down with home made vanilla flavored almond milk. Nap time!
