Jordan's Kitchen Cooking Class: CHEF JORDAN’S FAVORITES

February 2, 2018

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

  • Roasted baby beets with citrus supremes, fried pistachio, Burrata and orange-shallot vinaigrette
  • Handmade pasta with wild mushrooms, Perigord black truffle butter, Parmesan and chili oil
  • Rosemary and chive potato cakes with rainbow carrots and carrot top pesto and braised fennel
  • Chocolate brownie cake with toasted almond and chili, baked banana and caramel sauce

This class has four of my favorite winter dishes and is a perfect fit for cooks looking for some pro tips. This entire menu is absolutely delicious. Come learn how to cook beets so they don’t taste like dirt…Plenty of knife skills going on here too. Everyone wants to learn or get better at making pasta from scratch, especially when the pasta will have black truffle in it. Wait until you taste these potato cakes, you can serve them with anything from eggs at breakfast to a ribeye for dinner. Did you know the carrot tops are edible? We’ll make a pesto with them and some toasted hazelnuts to dress the carrots. And if you are a chocolate lover, this is our best chocolate dessert!
