Jordan's Kitchen Cooking Class: GO FISH

  • Smoked trout mousse, Josey Baker rye, pickled grape, dill and toasted caraway
  • PEI mussel salad with Little Gems, citrus supremes, watercress, mint and orange-shallot vinairette
  • Miso glazed Black Cod with carrot-ginger puree, wilted winter greens and garlic chives
  • Poached pear with white wine, vanilla bean and rosemary with cornmeal “crumbs” and vanilla ice cream

The perfect holiday gift, “Go Fish” is back and so are we for another year of the most hands-on, fun and delicious cooking classes. This is our annual fish only class that everyone loves. Fish can be one of the more challenging proteins for home cooks to prepare so this is a great class to come and hone your skills. Did I mention that we get some AMAZING fish! The first course is an absolutely addictive smoked trout spread that is perfect for any occasion and a natural pairing with rye bread and dill. The next course is one of my favorite winter salads with briny mussels, bright citrus notes and tons of herbs. The main course is our local Black Cod with a delicious 48 miso and mirin marinade. And a perfect poached pear for dessert. Let’s start the new year off right with a great class.
