Fortunately for us in the Bay Area our summer produce continues to peak long after the official start of fall. In fact, usually this is when our tomatoes are at their best. Especially those incredible dry farmed Early Girl tomatoes from Dirty Girl Farms. I’ll admit, it does get a little strange come November when there are still tomatoes at the farmer’s markets. In this End of Summer class we will throw one last epic summer dinner party/cooking class featuring so many of our favorite summer ingredients. Some of the highlights in this class will feature working with raw scallops, making herb oils and purees, grilling lamb perfectly and making a summer squash gratin that is so good, it will become a go to dish for you to bring to dinner parties every summer from now on. And the same goes for the chocolate dipped figs, wait until you learn to make these!
