Jordan's Kitchen Cooking Class: EATALY, ITALIAN COOKING

  • Chicories salad with Frog Hollow Farms pears, mountain Gorgonzola, hazelnuts and shallot-thyme vinaigrette
  • Oven roasted meatballs with San Marzano tomato sauce and grilled garlic toast
  • Handmade Pappardelle pasta with wild mushrooms, Parmiggiano Reggiano and chili oil
  • Meyer lemon Zabaione with lavender sugar

Our Italian cooking classes “Eataly” have always been our most popular. This is the food that so many of us grew up on and the food I still find the most comforting. California has so much in common with Italy when you consider the quality of produce that is available to us year round. Food in Italy is always delicious. Never too fussy, always fresh and well prepared, well seasoned and tasting great. These dishes we will make are some of my favorites for this time of year. You can cook this menu all winter long and I imagine that we will have plenty of nice white and red wines representing Italy.
