Jordan's Kitchen Cooking Class: EATALY
July 19, 2014
5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Our Italian classes are the most asked about year after year. At this point, we probably do Eataly once a quarter but the menu is always different. I still remember as a kid the first time I ate gnocchi. Second only to pizza, I thought it was the best thing I had ever tasted. I’m excited about teaching people how to make great gnocchi with the classic Genoese sauce. Panzanella is a rustic grilled bread salad that is loaded with fresh peas dressed perfectly with a tomato-garlic vinaigrette. We get our pork from Marin Sun Farms and we’ll pound it thin and cook it so it’s juicy and delicious with Dirty Girl Farms haricot vert (French green beans). The date cake with plum compote for dessert is a star as well.
