Jordan's Kitchen Cooking Class: DUNGENESS CRAB CLASS

  • Lump Dungeness crab meat with coconut milk, Thai flavors, cucumber and lime oil
  • Dungeness crab salad with knuckles and claws, Gem lettuces, seasonal citrus, tarragon and toasted pumpkin seeds
  • Bucatini with Dungeness crab, Meyer lemon, garlic, chili and herb fried breadcrumbs
  • Baked and stuffed apples with walnuts, winter spices and homemade Vanilla ice cream

As I write this menu, Dungeness crab season is set to begin commercially in about ten more days. It just opened recreationally and this weekend I plan to head to Bolinas to drop a few traps in the water. Catching, cooking and eating fresh Dungeness crab never loses it’s thrill; it’s one of the true joys of living on the West coast. That’s why we have to have an entire class menu dedicated to all things Dungeness crab. Well, except dessert. Don’t miss our annual Dungeness Crab Cookout, we only offer it once a year.
