Jordan's Kitchen Cooking Class: SUMMER DATE NIGHT

  • Strawberry salad with torn basil, Butter lettuces, Macadamia nut, cucumber and pea shoots
  • “Ceviche verde” with mixed local seafood, tomatillo and avocado, tostada and micro cilantro
  • Whole roasted Berkshire pork loin with Brentwood corn puree and haricot vert
  • Mixed berries with toasted almond, brown sugar and cinnamon crumbs and Tahitian vanilla cream

Our Jordan’s kitchen Date Night class is back. The menu is always incredible and the experience is beyond FUN. In the summer, it’s nearly impossible to choose just four dishes but these are sure to excite. First, a strawberry salad that is just exploding with flavor. A perfect first course to enjoy with a crisp Rose. Next is one of my favorite dishes ever, a Mexican style ceviche verde with a fresh tomatillo and avocado sauce. You will look for any excuse possible to invite people over for dinner just to make this dish alone. It wouldn’t be summer without Brentwood corn and Dirty Girl Farms french green beans. These go perfect with a whole roasted pork loin smothered in herbs, Dijon and garlic. And we have to finish this menu off with as many local, organic berries as possible. Raspberries, blackberries, blue berries and more make up this rustic and absolutely delicious crumble.
